Burst Geyser Repair Cape Town

A burst geyser is one of the most damaging plumbing emergencies. A single geyser holds between 150 and 200 liters of hot water. When the cylinder fails, this volume releases rapidly—flooding ceilings, damaging electrical systems, and destroying flooring and walls.

What Causes Geysers to Burst

Our Geyser Repair Process

First, we shut off the water supply and drain the cylinder to prevent further water release. We then inspect the cylinder for damage, check the pressure relief valve, and test the thermostat. If repair is possible—such as valve replacement or thermostat repair—we complete this immediately. If the cylinder has failed, we assist with replacement, including connecting the new unit to existing plumbing.

Geyser Replacement Services

When repair is not possible, we coordinate geyser replacement through our network. Replacement includes removing the failed unit, installing the new cylinder, connecting plumbing and electrical supply (coordinated with licensed electricians), testing all connections, and cleaning the work area. We work with all major geyser brands available in South Africa.
